I just read your 11 lessons! So true, so heartfelt and what gifts. It’s hard to convince people who have lost a loved one that gifts do await them as they move through their grief journey, but your list here is proof. AND I absolutely love #4 as that seems to be the hardest lesson for all of us, but especially for those who’ve lost a loved one and are trying to navigate through the holiday season. Family and friends often want to “take care” of them and they just want to do their own thing but feel they can’t say “no” because they don’t want to hurt or offend. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world!
